I had so many cool reactions to my stories yesterday regarding these “making off” videos .. that I wanted to show you some more footage of the 2.5 meter (8.2 ft) tall sculpture I’m currently working on. Pretty cool right!

This sculpture titled “Birthday Suit” gets it’s origin from my gorilla head sculpture “Big Bang” that piece was received so well that I wanted to experiment further with the theme of monkeys.. so I went for a full body to see if I could convey extra emotions and add humor to the sculpture by making him naked with a bunch of roses.
He feels like he is late to the party.. like people can often feel when they “miss the boat” on something
Turning dreams into reality..
Since I started making art I dreamed of making huge monumental sculptures for everyone to see.
This recent sculpture titled “Beyond the clouds” was an exceptional challenge as we had to make it abroad due to the travel restrictions.
Here you can see some fabrication photos from the scale model till the stainless steel and bronze en result.
The sculpture stands 10 meter (33 feet) 👩🏽🚀 tall

We had the amazing privilege to be invited to Paris Fashion Week by @Dior and witness the hard work and vision of an amazing designer and his dedicated team.
As an artist it’s always inspiring to see other artists at work 🙏🏽 I definitely left paris inspired and can’t wait to get back in the studio, thank you @mrkimjones ❤️
